  I ride with my husband in the truck and this place is in parking lot of the truck stop.  I'm an avid taco freak and naturally had to stop despite all the negative reviews.  You have to ask for chips and salsa and mediocre green salsa probably from a jar.  I of course ordered the 3 taco plate with carne asada; pastor and chicken.  The asada was bland, pastor had a very odd flavor (or the pork was bad, didn't finish it), but the chicken one had good flavor.  Husband got the carne asada with shrimp plate.  Paper thin steak, bland flavor.  However, the 4 shrimp you get were decent size and cooked well.  The sauce was delicious he said.  
  
  Overall an ok meal but their prices were high especially since the beans were canned and runny and rice tasted like it came from a box.  The portion was small too.  
  
  I may come back again if in the area but maybe Carey out a couple tacos.  It gave me the night off from cooking in the truck though!

  Upon arriving at The House of Sun my friends and I were anticipating a delicious meal after soaking IN the sun all day. Boy were we wrong. There are several qualms I had with this establishment. The first being the house chips. We were limited to two pathetically small baskets of chips for us to munch on. This isn't that big of an issue; however, many Mexican restaurants in the area provide an all you can eat option.. strike 1. Our entrees were pretty good but the taquitos were baked as if they sat at the gates of hell for an eternity before arriving at our table. The end

  Least exciting burrito I've ever had. Completely mediocre food. There are places in Corvallis and Albany that blow this away, so there's simply no reason to stop. Decor and service are fine. Food is just completely lack luster and kind of expensive.

  Great service, great food. It's a small hole in the wall but so glad we found them! The kind of confusing parking lot but that's not their fault.
